Village of NEW RICHMOND VILLAGE OF NEW RICHMOND I MAYOR'S COURT I POLICE DEPARTMENTT Job Description: Mayor's Court Administrator Reports To: Chief of Police Department: Mayor's Court j Police Department Status: Full-Time Pay: $35,000-37,000 Position Summary: The Mayor's Court Administrator performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions for both the Mayor's Court and the Police Department. This position is responsible for the coordination, preparation, and maintenance of court records, funds, and official documents. Additionally, the Administrator provides public assistance and administrative support for police operations. Minimum Requirements: Must pass a background check and fingerprinting BCI Maintain a valid Notary Public certification Obtain and maintain LEADS (Law Enforcement Automated Data Systems) certification Act as LEADS T AC (Terminal Agency Coordinator) Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong organizational, communication, and clerical skills Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Court Responsibilities: Maintain and prepare all court records and case files Prepare court dockets and associated forms Process and file cases including Traffic, OVI, Criminal, and Parking violations Input citations and case data into docketing system Issue subpoenas and court notices Coordinate court matters with defendants, counsel, prosecutors, law enforcement, jail, and external agencies Prepare outgoing documentation to external courts and agencies Request and process court transcripts, BMV abstracts, expungements, and sealing of records Prepare quarterly reports for the Ohio Supreme Court and monthly reports for Village Council Reconcile and maintain monthly Mayor's Court financial records Handle all collections, disbursements, and deposits of fines, costs, and bonds Assist with biennial audits and annual records retention requirements Police Department Support: Provide clerical support and serve as a point of contact for the public Dispatch non-emergency calls to officers as needed .
